Gran Turismo 5 - 3D (PS3)

Very realistic!
This sentence kept coming back to my mind while I watched it being playing.

The 3D works very well and the graphics are amazing.
The details on the replay are very impressive. It shows the blades wiping the front shield when it's raining/snowing, it shows each new damage to the car every time you hit a wall or another car, it shows the tires turning back and forth when you try to correct the sliding car (you know, right before you crash on a wall?... hehehe).

The sound track is somewhat interesting. During the race it's as expected: rock. During all other times it's a very calm "elevator" kind of music. Very weird, but not bad at all.

I don't know the other 4 GT games, but this has a ton of courses, trails, weather conditions, cars, cars' colors, and other options of pretty much everything.

It doesn't show in any video, of course, but you can race with a FIAT 500. They make a race of only 500s because they won't go faster than 60MPH.  It's hysterical!

I only raced once and with a way too fast car for my coordination, so the experience wasn't the best. Most of the time I was against a wall... But there ain't much to do: it's basically left/right and run/brake.  It's just that the controller is set in a too sensitive setting for Diego and I couldn't handle it well.  But it can be changed to an easier left/right control.

Pros: lots of options, very realistic
Cons: the 3D can get your eyes tired

Wife score: 8/10
